Curatorial Advisers Wanted

Do you enjoy working in museums? Would you be interested in sharing your expertise and skills with an independent museum in the region without access to professionally trained museum staff?

Renaissance North East is undertaking a review of the Curatorial Advisers’ Network in the region and as part of this work we are looking to recruit new Advisers who are able to support independent museums to work towards and maintain the Museum Accreditation Standard.

You can register your interest in becoming an Adviser by completing a short questionnaire. The deadline for responding is Monday 15 March.

The Great North Museum is one of eleven museums and galleries in the UK nominated for the prestigious £100,000 Art Fund Prize 2010. The prize is awarded to the museum or gallery for a project completed in the last year, that the Judges deem demonstrates the most originality, imagination and excellence.
