The first deadline of the year was in February and attracted almost 400 applications. Just over 90 applicants have been shortlisted by our applications team and independent advisors for progression to Stage 2. Thank you to everyone who applied  the standard was very high which made our decision-making process very difficult. After making the bold move of giving away 80,000 copies of their debut full length via Metal Hammer magazine at the beginning of 2011, and following up with a tour of the UK which put them in front of 15,000 metalheads supporting Murderdolls in February, the buzz on the band by March '11 was unprecedented. Jeyasingh will present an atmospheric new piece that will draw on the dramatic and colourful theatrical genre of classic Indian dance. It will feature newly commissioned music from young Indian composer and sound artist Niraj Chag.
