ERDF 2007-13 programme update - 2010 open calls

The 2009 round of ERDF calls for Priority 1 and Priority 2 closed on 18 December 2009 and a review of spend, commitments, outputs and results is now underway to help inform 2010 calls.

Interim arrangements from 4 January to 12 February 2010

In order to ensure that the ERDF programme remains responsive to regional economic conditions, the Programme Executive Group has agreed that the current ERDF Priority 1 and Priority 2 calls will be extended to 12 February 2010.

This extended call period will be confined to projects linked specifically to economic shock and/or economic restructuring.

ERDF applications in the period of extension will only be considered following prior discussion and agreement from the European Secretariat that the proposed application meets the scope of the extension.

This will enable the programme to respond flexibly to relevant, ERDF eligible need or opportunities arising during the interim period between calls.

It is expected that further open calls for projects will be issued at the end of February or early March 2010.
