A creative, enthusiastic professional with
an extensive knowledge of the design/arts industry is sought to help
lead this proactive team through a key phase in its development. The
postholder will develop and secure new sources of funding from
public and private sectors, act as an ambassador for the
organisation and will be integral to the creation of a long term
strategy for growth and sustainability.
Design Initiative is
unique in providing support and guidance to designers, visual
artists and commissioners of design to meet the demands of a high
quality professional industry in its effective contribution to the
economic and cultural life of the region.

Call For Entries for
Bruce Smith's 'Images of People'
Exhibition

This exhibition has been set up to raise awareness
for the charities bellow and to showcase photographer's images that
depict peoples lives reflecting ENERGY, EMOTION and
FEELINGS.
Bruce is looking for 100 final images for the
exhibition. These images will be digitally printed on archival
quality paper, mounted and framed ready for the
exhibition.
Bruce himself will be donating 50 of his own
images to be auctioned off to raise funds. They will not be entered
into the competition.
There will be a public auction to sell
the prints to the highest bidder, all funds raised from this auction
will be split between Sightsavers International and to Liverpool's
charities providing photographic education to children with learning
difficulties and social problems.
